I love this post, Morganne! You have so many great takeaways, not to mention some stunning photography! I was actively thinking about your mention of the couple having a picnic in their puffer jackets and it got me outside on a day I might not otherwise have gone. I also love the idea of using candles more for ambiance and low lighting as opposed to just scent, I think that’s why I love the holidays so much so why not do it year round! ✨
Ah that makes me so happy to hear you were inspired to get outside by that post 🥰 Thank you Lauren!
Ironically I ate lunch at a Nordic restaurant in town today and they didn’t have their patio open even though the forecast was dry and temperate. I wanted to tell them to take a hint from their namesake lands 😆
Ooh what candles do you light for the holidays? I do tend to light more in the winter/darker months but not necessarily for holidays!
Oh my gosh, you should have – they clearly have forgotten their roots!
I use lots of little votives with tea lights around the holidays! I put them on my mantel, entryway table, and dining table and it adds such a nice glow during those dark winter nights
Yes! Coffee and a pastry is my favorite hobby 😂 we biked to La Banchina too and loved it. Also loved the design museum. These are great things to take with you!

I love all of this, Morgan. Yes to weaving more of all of this back into the other reality. XOXO 💕
Thanks for reading, Satya! 🤗 Hope you’re well. I think about the QL retreat nearly every day!

Thanks Brenna! I found out about La Banchina from your Substack actually, so thank you! One of our highlights :)
Oh great 😊
Loved these little observations! Cheers to more hygge and cold weather biking🚴🏻♀️
Thanks Teresa 🤗
